THE TOP CAMPING DESTINATION AT THE TIME OF COVID-19: YOUR HOME!
Who would have thought that something so foregone as jump on a plane and travel or even just take your car for a trip out of town could have been ripe away from us this fast due to a worldwide pandemic and that because of this the entire world would have been put on standby.
So founding myself lock at home as all of you, having lost count of days and with reality, with spring and sunnier days among us, with the desire for a trip or an outing in the mountains, i thought, well if i can't go camping then will be the camping to come where i am.
If you own some of the things which i will list, you could create a campsite with the less effort and make these long days a bit less boring, it's also a good idea to share with your friends once this social distancing will be off and maybe ends this quarantine with some memorable memories.
We often take for granted that to break up our routines it is necessary to jump on a plane for some exotic destination, and even tho it is not far from the truth, sometimes all we need is inventiveness and utilize our mind as a means of travel.
As a lover for outdoor travel and mountains outing, with a camp tent in a dark corner of my house to get dusty and a lot of time at my disposal, why not do it in the privacy of my own house?! It is not necessary to own a camp tent even tho you can easily find one at Decathlon for no more than 20 euros.
Having a backyard would be perfect, not be my case, i choose for my veranda. This will also be a perfect chance for who doesn't have much experience in camping, and what's best than try it in the safety of your own home before going deep into the woods.
Just the process of setting up the tent, pick up some woods for the fire, light up the brace for the barbecue (you can easily find one on Amazon for no more than 20 euros) to cook some tender marinated meat, it will make you forget to be within your domestic walls; of course, the right atmosphere is essential, i opted for some fairy lights, fluffy pillows and warm blankets to make everything much cozier and maybe add some music in the background to make everything more magical.
Of course, there is no such thing as respectable camping without ending the night in front a warm fire while the sweet scent of roasted marshmallows it wraps you, and you savor a bite of those delicious s' mores, accompanied by some tea or hot chocolate.
Relax and enjoy the starry sky and fresh air few steps from your house, maybe imagine to camp inside an american national park or on a beach in Spain or on top of a mountain in Switzerland, or an edge of a lush tropical forest.
I hope this post could maybe inspire some of you to create an escape from reality, waiting for the time when all of us can go back to travel and check all the destinations that were on our list.
